Synopsis For Massachusetts And Rhode Island Coastal Waters

Forecast as of 3:47 am EDT on September 1, 2014 - Southwest winds will prevail across the waters through Tuesday along with warm and muggy air. This will mean areas of fog for the start of the week. A disturbance over New York and Pennsylvania will bring a chance of thunderstorms to the waters this afternoon...especially the southern waters. A cold front in the Great Lakes will approach the waters late Tuesday and cross the waters Tuesday night. High pressure will build over the northeast USA Wednesday and Thursday...then move offshore Friday.
